Who I am and what I do

I am a medical anthropologist. I study the way that medicine, wellness, and individual autonomy connect. Through my career, I have worked in reproductive medicine, Alzheimer's disease, HIV/AIDS, and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis.

This course is a collection of the ideas I have personally used in caregiving for a family member after a long hospitalization. I put it together in a short, comprehensive place so that others can benefit.

This course is free to anyone who needs it. I expect that each person will find that some strategies are helpful and others are not. Use what works and adapt what doesn't.

If you are a peripheral support person who has found this course helpful AND you are seeking to compensate me for these ideas, below are some ways you can do that. I did not create this course as a way to earn money, but as a way to make meaning from the challenging experience of caregiving.
